Our Story
What began as a simple solution for busy parents has grown into a community favorite. In 2024, we expanded our team and started offering in‑home massage in Kelowna so moms and dads could relax without scrambling for childcare. The idea resonated—clients told friends, friends told neighbours—and soon mobile massage became our most requested service, expanding into multiple cities through word of mouth.
Tenielle was recognized among the Top 8 for Spa & Relaxation Massage in Best of Kelowna 2024, and we’re grateful to share that in 2025, Be Still Massage reached the Top 5 in Best of Kelowna—a milestone that reflects the trust and loyalty of our amazing clients. This year, Tenielle is also thrilled to have expanded Be Still Massage to Edmonton, AB, the very place where her massage journey began back in 2018, and she’s excited to reconnect with familiar faces while welcoming new clients to experience the care and relaxation that Be Still is known for.

Meet the Owner!
Tenielle Schmid – Owner & Founder, AB Licensed MT

Tenielle graduated from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Edmonton, Alberta in 2018. She found her love for massage while she was studying music & youth ministry at a college outside of Calgary for a year. Her classmates had asked her for neck and shoulder rubs after long hours of studying. Tenielle loved being able to help her classmates and was pleasantly surprised that her hands didn’t hurt after 45 minute massages! In her final month of college, she woke up one morning in her dorm room obsessing over a career in Massage!
Two years later, she graduated and began her massage journey working in a clinic and offering mobile massage in Beaumont, AB. After getting married, Tenielle and her husband decided to embark on a new beginning in Kelowna, where over the past five years, she has provided mobile massage to more than 300 clients, earned recognition in Best of Kelowna—rising from #8 to #5 in 2025—and expanded her business by welcoming other talented Massage Specialists to her growing team. Tenielle is now excited to be accepting both studio and mobile clients in Edmonton, where it all began.
When Tenielle is not massaging, you can usually find her with family and friends, cuddling her cats, out on the lakes and mountains or eating delicious food!
